Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) didn’t mean much to me until recently.
Nine years ago my horse Cowboy came into my life and little did I know he was more than a horse that I would trail ride. He taught me so much about myself, what I already knew and mostly what I didn’t know. When I was asked what was so special about Cowboy I would say he taught me love, compassion, trust and leadership. Surprising, that is what EAP is all about and I want to share that with everyone. It is a gift given so freely by a horse and very few people have the opportunity to receive this gift.

I am currently employed at Sonoma State University as a Graduate Administrative Specialist for the Masters in Psychology Programs. I met Maria four years ago and we have joined together to share our deep love of animals with anyone who wants to attend our exciting workshop.
